Informed by the latest developments in applying BS 8901, this new intensive training course is now being held on a monthly basis in synchronisation with the introductory course (Understanding BS 8901) above. In order to get the best from this two day course, delegates should consider attending the Understanding course prior to attending this training. BS 8901:2009 Internal Auditor – Two day (non residential) course
This is a new course to meet the rising demand for trained internal auditors adept at planning and delivering effective auditing against BS 8901:2009. Designed for those with no prior management systems auditing experience, it is practically oriented to the nuts and bolts of sustainability and what this looks like ‘on the ground’ at event level.

N.B. Those with prior environmental management systems auditing experience may instead wish to consider the one day ‘conversion course listed below.

Practical Stakeholder Engagement for Events course – One day
SEG’s ‘Practical Stakeholder Engagement for Events’ course is pragmatic, results-oriented training that provides delegates with the capacity to design and deliver effective, meaningful and ongoing stakeholder engagement programmes, maximizing returns for their organizations while using limited resources. Attendees gain skills, tools and techniques to help them realize key sustainability and stakeholder management concepts, such as stakeholder identification and prioritization methods, setting strategic engagement programme objectives for their business, selecting appropriate communication methods, and analyzing results.

Bespoke BS 8901 Group Implementation Programmes
Our successful Group Implementation Programmes are currently running with a number of sector, regional and supplier groups across the UK and throughout 2010. Prospective participants should have attended one of our Understanding Courses prior to beginning these courses.
The schedule below shows the start dates for the programmes. The four successive workshops in each series will follow at 4-5 week intervals. Dates will be supplied at the time of initial booking.
